Brief Description: clecoed in place the A-1011 Trailing Edge made fro
4/30/2009 .. 21-5 Steps 1 and 2. After completing the steps on page 21-4 I clecoed in place the A-1011 Trailing Edge made from the VA-140 Trailing Edge stock. Following the plan I drilled perpendicular to the Aileron center line of extrusion using a #40 size drill bit. Dissembled the assembly and removed (drilled out) the temp. rivets installed on page 21-4, step 2. Next dimpled with#40 dimple die set all the corresponding holes and the .040 inch thick A-1003-Spar Flanges as necessary. Primed with DTM Primer/Finisher as seen necessary including the stainless steal pipe counter weight. Repeated process with the right Aileron assembly. Time about 2 hours total.
