4/29/2009 … Section 21-4 Steps 4 to 7 …Began by clecoing the Counter Balance Weight or “pipe” to the A-1004 and A-1005 Nose Ribs as shown in Figure 3. Then clecoed the A-1015-R Inboard Nose Assembly to the A-100l Spar. Now cleco the A1001A-L Nose Skin to the Bottom of the A-1003-L Flange Spar and to the Nose Ribs then clecoed the top of the Spar Flange A-1003-L to the Nose Skin. Add the side A-1005-L/R Main Ribs to the assembly. Following step 6, I placed the clecoed assembly on my work bench and placed a 2 X 6 board with some water jugs for weight to hold the assembly flat in place with no twists. Then following step 7, I drill all the corresponding holes with a #40 drill bit. After I completed this I repeated the process for the Right Aileron assembly. Time about 4 hours for both.
