Brief Description: HE Section 9-17, Step 5 to 10, I cut out PVC foam
08/01/2008 ….. Completed steps 5 to 10. I cut out PVC foam blocks for insertion into the trim tabs at locations specified in Figure3. I dimpled all the holes in the Trim Tabs E-919 and the #40 holes for the Trim Tab Horns E-917 and 918. Dimpled the bottom flange of spar E-920 and the mirror image spar. Riveted the E-917 and E-918 and the mirror image Trim Tab Horns the skin of the Trim Tab E-919 and the double. Then mixed up some Tank Sealant and inserted the foam PVC trim tabs inside the Trim Tabs. Then riveted the bent tabs on both sides of the Trim Tab using the pop-rivets called for on Page 9-19 Figure 2. Allowed the two finished Trim Tab sections to cure overnight. Time about 4 hours.
