Section 36 BRAKE LINE Page 36-2 Steps 1 to 6
Step 1, Enlarged the bottom brake line hole to 5/8” with a Uni-bit on both left and right.
Step 2, Located two AN837-4D 45 degree elbow and AN924-4D Nuts and placed onto the WD-1021-L/R Landing Gear Mount.
Step 3, Located and installed the AN833-4D Elbow, AN960-7816 Washer and AN925-4D Nut to the F-1048-L/R Fwd Fuselage Ribs as shown in figure 2.
Step 4, After study various pictures and isometric views on pages 36-1 and 36-2 I began measuring and flaring the brake line from ATO-32X ¼” aluminum tubing.
Step 5, After satisfying with the lengths of the ATO-32X ¼” aluminum tubing I slipped two SB-375-4 Snap Bushing and tow AN818-4D nuts and AN819-4D Sleeves.
Step 6, Again rechecking the lengths and that the necessary hardware was strung through the tubing I began to add flares on both ends. Then I applied some thread easy or fuel lube to only the threads to help in attaching the parts together.
