Step 1, I fit and cut the ½ inch wide double foil sound and heat insulation to fit both the F1050 L and R Cabin Floor Panels and then using the previously cut insulation as a pattern I cut an additional sound layer out of Super Sound Proofing from Spruce Specialty for a total of at least 1 inch of combined sound proofing. Then after placing the two into the aircrafts’ pilot and co-pilot floor boards I riveted as described in figure 2 using both LP4-3 and CS-4-4 pop rivets.
Work time about 5 hours.
First Step Double Insulated 1/2" foil layer
Second, Super Sound Proofing over teh foil layer for excess of 1" heat and sound proofing
Third< insullation complete and riving with both LP4-3 and CS-4-4 pop rivets
