Picked up the IO-540 A1D5 engine from Air-Tec Inc. today at Orlando Executive Airport in Florida. The newly rebuilt engine comes complete with a 1 year or 400 hr which ever comes first warranty. I know I'll reach 1 year but probley not over 400 hours inthe first year of flying. Comes complete with all the proof of a newly rebuilt engine, run-in, reciepts of magnaflux check, yellow tags, new parts list.. etc... Should last a long time in the RV-10. The Air-Tec team were helpful in loading the new engine into the back of my new Toyota Tacoma sport pickup for the trip back to Warner Robins. I took a side trip to the Beach before returning home.
