05/07/2012

Visited Orlando Florida and Sun-n-Fun last week and purchased some parts/supplies for the X-10 project. I installed the POS-12 Sensor for determining where the Flaps positions are via the SkyView Display. This sensor has a linear range of travel of 0 to 1.2 inches, with a + 5 v input line, sensor data line, and a ground return. The X-10 aircraft has -3 degree (reflex for cruising), 0 degree for normal takeoff, 14 degree for short field takeoff and landing and 30 degree for bring the aircraft down. These are now displayed on the Pilots Dynon Skyview MFD, through the Engine Management System or EMS pin #18 (+5 v), pin #4 (general purpose sensor input) and pin # 13 ground.

Time about 4 hours.
