My front canopy frame bar sits lower than expected, thus making the front canopy skin sit very tight to the subpanel frame and bind with the front fuse skin. So, after reading a couple hours on this topic in the Vans Air Force archives, I made a shim by stacking a set of 5 progressively longer pieces of .020 aluminium (did you catch the British spelling?). When I drilled thse and assembled, i am still too thin, so I will had another couple strips.
