Brief Description:  Attaching horizontal stabilizer

Time to attach (temporarily) the tail to the fuselage. This involves attaching first the horiz stabilizer/elevators, then the vertical stab plus rudder. Measurements are made to ensure everything is square and level, then the attachement points are drilled and bolted. In addition, elevator and rudder stops are added, plus the pushrod installed from the control stick to the elevator (actually two pushrods that connect through a bellcrank behind the baggage compartment. Today, I did the first two steps - clamped the horiz stab, then secured the elevator counterweight sections until the trailing edge was in perfect alignment. Then the elev horns were carefully drilled using a hardwood spacer block inbetween.
