Remember nasty proseal? I applied some to the inner flange as a corrosion prevention measure since this is steel against aluminum and exposed. The step was primed, then I painted the inside flange, then on went the proseal (porseal is nice because it can be painted, as opposed to using silicone based caulks). After buttering the step, I clecoed in place.
