Brief Description: right aileron assembled, drilled, taken apart
Right aileron had all the same things done. As usual, second time around was much quicker. Everything dissasmbled - BIG SCREW UP. Despite triple checking my aileron skins, I ended up with the stiffeners overlapping instead of being opposite sided (so if you looked into the interior, the L angle of the stiffener overlaps, when the upper and lower should form a box shape instead). Before running off and kicking puppies (not Labs, Chad), I studied the situation after the cussing was done and noted there is no issue whatsoever. While not to plan, there is no contact or rub between the upper and lower stiffners. It took 30 plus minutes to make sure everything was in order otherwise. MOVING ON!
