Brief Description: Rivet flap gap fairing, drilled out bad aileron br
Riveted flap gap fairing. Drilled out end aileron bracket (in place pic 3) since tooling holes from vertical jig support bracket was too close to holes I riveted in end rib, as seen in pic 1. I then fabricated a doubler from extra .032 plate that fits in the rib end space (pic 2). I drilled two vertical rows of holes to hold the doubler, mindful of the sheetmetal rules of at least 3X rivet diameter inbetween rivets, and 2X from edge. Deburred and primed. Waiting for replacement bracket from Van's.
