Made and riveted the flap hinge brackets that attach to the rear spar. There are three of these - inner and outer are atttached after the usual drilling and deburring, then the middle one is aligned so that the center pivet hole is aligned with the others by running a string through (pic 1). I also had to use some L'angle and fabricate 2 brackets per hinge bracket - I also made the ones for the right wing. Everything was drilled, deburred, primed, then bushings inserted (C clamp and wood block made a good press). I riveted the hinge brackets on - tomorrow I will wrap up by attaching the L-angle brackets. Today was the first time using the Avery right angle drill attachement. Smooth and worked perfectly (pic 3). About a day of work left before starting the right wing. I will then make the ailerons and flaps together at the end.
Taut string used to align hinge bracket - didn't really require adjustment from the first position
