Brief Description: left elevator - finished trailing edge
Trim tab was finished by riveting on horns. After curing for a few days, the trailiing edge of the left elevator was finished same as the rudder - backriveted as in pic 1, but this time I started tilting the gun earlier, perhaps after the second or third impact, and never had any dents in the skin. The elevator was flipped, and the flush swivel set was then used while the partially set rivet shop heads were further flattened to skin level against the steel plate. Pic 2 shows the result - a dead straight trailing edge.
