Brief Description:  L Elevator assembly

I finished riveting the upper skin to spar - Austin helped a bit for the hard to reach center. Bottom stiffners back riveted (pic 1). Platenuts were dimpled with the pn squeezer (do not use the DRDT-2 for this - I recall someone who broke their's doing this. Clear it thru Paul Merems first), then riveted (squeezed) on the trim servo plate, which was then riveted onto the lower skin (pic 2). I checked the servo unit - it mounts onto the cap plate that will screw on, and should have clearance. The counterbalance ribs were riveted to the spar (used CS-4 blind rivets for two holes, and the the squeezer and regular rivets for the other two. The two skin to CW skin holes were then riveted with AN426-3-3.5. I messed one up, and also put a dent in the top skin where the flush rivet set was pushing down on a bending part of the skin. Lesson learned - I temporary clecoed the tip rib so the skin stayed flat. Last, bottom skin to spar was blind riveted (see pic 3).
