Started the elevators. Similar construction as rudder - stiffners attached to skins, similar front spar and end ribs, riveted trailing edge with wedge insert. Skin, though, is one piece so front won't be rolled by me. Will do the right first, as the left a little more complicated with the trim tab. Stripped vinyl from skin along rivet lines. Fabricated 16 stiffners rest of time - cut to shape from long L-angles, sanded to line and straightened with 1" strap and 6 inch wheel sanders, then final grind and deburr on scothbrite wheel.
