Brief Description: rudder drilling, part fabrication
Both left and right skins drilled to #40 size. Rudder horn brace cut and finished, clecoed, all rib/horn attachment holes drilled out to #30. Though not in the instructions, the skins overlap the brace with several holes - the skin holes were used to drill through the brace. The rudder bottom attach strips were then fabricated, clamped with cleco clamps to the bottom rib and skin, and drilled in assembly to #40. Everything then was dis-assembled. Ahhh, 3.5 day weekend coming up - time to deburr and dimple/countersink everything in preparation for final assembly.
