Brief Description: Cowl pins, cowl epoxied, left wing root fairing
We altered the top cowl so that it would accept the side pin and drilled for a nut plate to keep the hinge pin in place. We then fashioned the lower hinge pins so that they would anchor in the 602 plate. See Image #1. ..... We then took the cowls off and painted the inside of them with dilute West epoxy. See Image #2. ....... We next installed the left wing root fairing with its rubber gasket. It is very interesting to look back a see that EXACTLY 1 year ago we were installing nut plates on the wing root for these fairings. I bet then I would not have believed you that it would take a whole year to get to the point that these fairing were finally installed.
