Brief Description: Nutplates battery ground-oil sensor line-Battery b
We inventoried our firewall forward kit and stowed it away. The rubber vibration dampers are back-ordered so that rules out mounting the engine until they come. We did start on mounting all that we could to the firewall. We drilled out several rivets and installed nut plates for the battery ground (see the battery ground attached in Image #1) We then installed nut plates across the top of the firewall recess for the oil pressure sensor line. Next came work on the battery box and doublers etc for the 2 relays. After making the doubler and the tie down we primed them and will install them tomorrow. WE will do as much as we can before installing the engine......The revised panel was shipped from Aerotronics Friday and will arrive here on Monday of next week. Then come all the fun work of altering the fore deck support to allow the panel contents to fit in.
