Brief Description:  Finished the fuel line to aux pump/installed stati

We completed the fuel line from the fuel selector to the aux fuel pump this morning. The finished product can be seen in Image #1. It finally came out right but you can believe that we measured everything at least twice for we had already destroyed much of our 3/8 " aluminum tubing in multiple attemps last week. I think that the flares, alignment, clearances etc. are acceptable. We couldn't find the right kind of foam so we used some scrap nylon blocks to separate the fuel line from the brake lines that are yet to come (see the white odd shaped blocks in Image #1).........We then installed the Van's static ports behind the luggage compartment bulkhead and just in front of the next bulkhead as described by Van's. As can be seen in Image #2 & #3, the ports are just pop rivet heads with 1/8" tubing anchored on with RTV. I have read several reports that state that these work better than some of the other ports that can be specially ordered. They certainly aren't very high tech but if they are cheaper and work better. You just can't beat that!
