Brief Description:  Cutout for landing light/Shaping reflector/Attachi

We had a good but nerve-racking day today and boy was the hangar HOT! It was close to 100 degrees. I cut out the hole on the leading edge of the wing for the landing light. I was able to use a Dremel tool with a heavy duty cutting disk leaving an 1/8th of an inch margin and finished the cutout with a Dremel sanding wheel and then smoothed it with Scotch Brite. The template was used to cut out some duct tape to fit over the margins to protect the wing while cutting. We then drilled the the holes for the nut plates to be anchored to the ribs with pop rivets. I had to use a right angle air drill to be able to get in the tight space. However the rivet puller I have is too large to get in to pull the four little pop rivet that hold the nut plates on. I went all over town this afternoon looking for a smaller one. While I was working on the landing light, Claude was assembling the brackets and parts for the mounting of the aileron. He began drilling holes for the AN3 bolts that will hold the brackets on. Tomorrow, being the forth, we plan to take the day off and on Thursday, will go to the machine shop and get the aileron push rods welded.
