Brief Description: Adding more parts bins, storage and inventoring
We started opening bags to inventory them this morning and found that we need one more steel shelf and some more plastic bins.Back to Walmarts and then back to hangar to put them together and continue opening and sorting bags of parts. Sorted parts & placed them in drawers. Now have 6 cabinets with many drawers each.We torqued the bolts holding the fuel tanks to the main spar on the wing.....important to keep the gas tanks on the wings, don't you think? When trying to get access plate off the left wing, the screw was frozen. I had to ask Keith what to do. As usual he knew to drill the head of the screw and pop the head off and the back the screw out of the nut plate from behind with vise grips. I don't know what I would do without him.Now I remember that the nut plates need to be lubed with boelube. I guess they forgot the boelube in the Philippines and boy were the screws frozen!Didn't get home until 7PM and didn't get the lawn mowed so Nell is not happy.
