OK Guys. It's important that you:

a) have the latest manual update

and

b) actually read the manual while you are building.

Pay special attention to anything that says "note" or "important". I assembled the bell crank aft tonight, working with Jon, paying special attention to which way the rivets go, and I missed that the bearing had a ever-so-slightly-larger bearing face on one side that was supposed to face opposite the way I had it. No problem you say, just take the rivets out and redo. Well, I haven't worked alot with rivets - I knew there were two ways - shear the heads or drill the heads and the rivets will just detach. I tried both, both are difficult. I got down to two rivets - one had more of a rivet shank left in it than it should have I think - so my drill bit broke off trying to drill it out - and obviously, with a shank, and a drill bit, it ain't going to shear. So I worked on it for awhile (1 hour) trying to be careful and get it out then the Chris madness took over and I ruined the part. Occuring nearly simultaneously was this strong urge to chunk the piece across the garage (minding any breakable equipment or innocent passerbys of course) and so the piece went sailing across the garage, landing nicely in a pile of spent boxes (ie. trash) right where the darn thing belonged!

So, I went online to PA, found the parts in less than 5 minutes, ordered them for 2 day delivery and $50 later, I'm back in business.

I guess if you're going to learn, there is some cost associated (time & money). Thankfully this was only about 2 hours and $50...

On the good news front - Leah bought me this awesome shirt for Christmas!!
