Brief Description: Started Section 5, Cutting the hull
Started cutting a pretty expensive hull. Back went fine, sides kept creeping back on me - so much that I will have to fill back in with some fiberglass. Even after watching others struggle with this, I thought I was close, then as the hull dropped into position little by little, the whole thing kept binding aft, causing me to have to keep trimming that back about 1/8" at a time - until now there's about 3/8" too much gap in the front... Oh well, I needed to learn how to do some fiberlgassing anyway!
I also started manufacturing some aluminum plates to strengthen the hull attachment points, as many others have done. I'll take pictures tomorrow... After my solo flight to Cleburne that is...
