Brief Description: Seal up map pocket and mount boxes
The map pocket hole in the sub panel is really a nuisance when fitting the avionics boxes. I drilled out the doubler and repaced it with a solid sheet of aluminum riveted into the existing holes from the doubler. The holes need to all be dimpled first then riveted so the top is flush and you can use that area for mounting a remote box. I have the remote audio box on the front and the Arinc box on the back side with some countersunk screws.
