Finished painting the left wing and inspection panels. First the vinyl graphic mask was applied to the wing top and then mirror matched on the bottom. The paint mask worked very well and it was definitely easier than trying to mask the checkers. The red was sprayed on the checkers and once it was dried enough to remove the mask, I shot 2 coats of clear on the wing. It flowed out nicely but not completely free from a little orange peel. It's a fine line between flowing out nicely and making runs but it looks like I have no runs in the clear. Now to do the whole process again on the right wing :)
