Prepared the left wing for painting. After inspecting for and proud rivet heads, I scuffed the wing with maroon Scotch brite pads on my DA sander. Many wipe downs followed to get the aluminum as clean as possible then applied 2 coats of direct to metal epoxy primer. All looks good and tomorrow gets the final sealer and paint. I was hoping to get both wings done at the same time but the booth just won't fit both wings and have enough room to shhot the paint comfortably.
