Brief Description:  Canopy release / priming

Gong back to section 35 to finish the canopy release mechanism. This needs t be completed before I can fit the canopy frame to the fuselage. The pushrods need to me fabricated from tube stock and this process is pretty straight forward with holes drilled into ech end and slots cut lengthwise to clear the mechanism. The slots were not as difficult as eexpected and I made an initial cut to length on the band saw then opened the slots up to the proper size with a Dremel and a cut off wheel. These get primed and then the doublers are added to the front skin. These take tiny #2 rivets with countersinks and nobody make a countersink for these rivets as far as I culd find so I used the deburring tol and the countersinks came out great and no problems. The doublers get a coating of tank sealant then double flush riveted with a squeezer.
