Brief Description:  Cowl Engine Air Intake 2

Today I got around to fiberglassing the engine air intake. I did a little more finishing work on the foam to improve the corner radius and smoother the finish. I cut two strips of cloth on the 45* so they can conform to the compound shape. I saturated the cloth first and then set it in place on the intake. With the fist cloth in place I added a second layer. On course it is quite cold today so it wil take forever for the epoxy to cure. In the meantime I mixed some micro into the leftover resin and started filling the cowl surface. I figure I can do a little of this anytime I have leftover resin so it doesn't go to waist. Good epoxy resin isn't cheap! Not like the vinyl-ester stuff at the auto-parts store. Try $50+ per quart.
