Today I started fitting the FAB assembly. I started by fitting the topa plate to the carb bottom. The top plate has to be cut out to clear the float bowl drain. My carb has an extra bit of material just aft of the inlet that would keep the plate from fitting correctly. I made a spacer out of 0.125 2024 I has laying around. It took a while to fab the part out of that thick material, but it came out great.
