Today I showed my wife how to operate the rivet gun. After practicing on some scrap we went to work riveting the right wing. This went much better that when I had her bucking. She did a great job and was far more enthusiastic than last time.
I am going to have to take a break from the inboard wing skin. It look like all the AN426AD3-4 rivets I bought from Aircraft Spruce are over-hard and not useable. I had this problem with a bag of rivet I bought a few months ago, the new batch has the same probem. I only had a handful of 3-4 rivets left (why I ordered more). I need these for the tank also
It so happened I was placing an order from Vans the other day and included some more 3-4 rivets. That order should be in this week.
