Boy, this tank is taking much longer than I had estimated. Oh well, if it is leak-free in the end it will be worthwhile. Today I fitted and riveted the rear baffle. I used the slotted wood clamp method, seems to work well. The only saw I had with a 1/16 kerf was a hand saw. I cut the blocks to length with the table saw and then hand-cut the slots. A quick trip to the belt sander and they were ready to go.
So far I have used probably way to much seallant. I don't this I will be able to do both tanks with the one quart. It will be close, but I will probably be a little short. I will go ahead and order another quart.
