Brief Description: Aileron Bellcrank and Control Rod
Reinstalled the aileron on the wing and fabbed the bellcrank spacers and the pushrod. The hole for the pushrod had to be enlarged quite a bit over the "starting" dimension in the plans. I was a bit concerned about this at first, but after some research, it appears to be pretty common. The flap skin will have to be trimmed a bit for clearance. Ignore the use of washers for the aileron control rod, that was just temporary for fitting.
The aileron travel (without stops installed) is almost exactly the listed maximum travel.
To drill the pushrod, I made my own v-block drilling jig; it worked great! The pushrod is primed inside and out and has a baked enamel finish on the outside - tough as nails.
