Todau I fitted the vertial stab and rudder back onto the fuselage. I wanted to work out the position and travel of the rudder pedals. I have one of those internal rudder stops I will install, for this initial fitting I just stuck it in place. I found the the rudder cables from Vans aren't exactly the same length, so I will have to vary the length of the brackets that attach the rudder cable to the pedals. For now I made a couple test pieces out of aluminum.
When I tired of messing with the rudder pedals I decided to put the nutplates on the tank attach brackets and install the brackets on the fuselage. I primed the bracket and skin where they would mount. Plus I painted the doublers on the inside of the fuselage.
