Today I started making the mounting tray for the Dynon ADAHRS. Dynon requires that the ADAHRS be at least 1 fiit (2-3 is best) from any dynamic magnetic interference. I opted to make a mount on the aft side of the F-607 bulkhead using the bulhead web for support. The tray will also mount to the bottom aft skin. This location puts is about 1.5 feet from the future location of the autopilot roll servo. The tray has to be within 1 degree of alignment with all axis of the airplane. I leveled the fuselage and then leveled the tray to match. I can make minor adjustments to the installation with shims under the mounting bolts if required.
