Today was the big day! After double and triple checking the position of the canopy relative to the slider frame and roll-bar I prepped and marked the canopy for the "big cut".
To support the canopy while cutting, I ran tape across the bottom of the canopy to keep it from bowing out. I also put rails on a large piece of scrap MDF I had and used that as a work surfrace. As I made the cut, I put tape across the seam to prevent flexing and possib;e craking. The whole thing went smooth and was a non-issue (other than me sweating bullets..haha).
