Today I romoved the canopy from the plane. With the canopy back on the bench, I marked the forward edge for trimming. I made the cut, polished the edge and re-fit the canopy back on the plane. I then did the whole process again, taking off a little bit more material,
I am trying to get all the canopy cutting / fitting done durring the summer. The plexi is less prone to cracking when it is warm. Today the temperature of the plexi was around 106 degrees.
