Today I finally got around to making the doubler strips to back up the rivets that attach the NACA vents. I cut the doubles out of scrap 0.040. I made four total and then match-drilled them to the vents. While I was at it, I countersunk the holes in the vents and dimpled the skin. I will put a bead of proseal on the vent flange when I rivet them, that will seal the vents to the fuselage.
