I made the piece of angle that attached to the rib and connects the strut to the firwall crossmember. I then match-drilled the strut flange, angle, and rib all together. I also drilled the upper end of the strut to the rollbar. I drilled it to 3/16 for now, but it will be a 1/4" bolt eventually.
I then primed the components and riveted everything together. I left a few rivets out for right now since those will need some small spacers to account for the width of the strut flange.
