Today I messed with the roll bar again. I tool the roll bar off the plane and put the strap back on the try and pull the sides in a bit more. After getting the 3" strap extremely tight I was finally able to get the rollbar into shape. I then marked the layout for the bolts onto the deck and drilled the pilot holes. Using the pilot holes, I drilled the clamps that will go under the longeron / deck and backup the rollbar bolts.
I also drilled the rest of the holes for the forward deck while I had the rollbar off.
