While working on the boarding step I relized that the torque tube on the steps was not long enough to insert all the way into the nylon support blocks on the baggage rib. As a result, there would not be enough material for good edge distance on the bolt that connects the block and tube. I couldn't get a hold of any nylon, so I made some spacer blocks out of 3/8 plexi. This worked out very well and should do a fine job.
While I was at it I also finished the mounting flange for the right boarding step.
