After fitting the rudder pedal weldment, I decided to do the final prep work to rivet the right side skin. First I did a little more dimpling and deburring on the structure. I then deburred, dimpled, and primed the right side skin. I put the primer on pretty thin in the open areas of the skin and a bit thicker when the skin will contact the structure. When I pain the interior, I will give these areas one more thin shot of primer specific to the finish paint brand / color.
