Researched various locations for the pitot heat controller and decided to put it on the rib next to inspection plate in the bay with aileron bellcrank. Problem is the rib has a raised stiffener in this location. Made two spacers from .060 scrap to run parallel to the stiffener and hold the controller just off the rib. Match drilled the stiffeners to the controller, then drilled them for nutplates for #6 cap head screws. Deburred all holes and then match drilled to the rib, cleco as I went. Deburred the rib, scuffed the spacers with scotchbrite and primed with NAPA 7220. Riveted the spacers and nutplates in together. Most with squeezer, a couple with gun and bar. Installed controller with cap head screws and washers.
