I used the information from Wirejock's builders log and his Kitplanes article to guide my Sikaflex preparation and application. Also used info from Sikaflex website. Excellent information all around. Applied blue tape to outline areas on canopy for Sikaflex. Scuffed areas with scotchbrite and cleaned up with vacuum and damp microfiber cloth. Removed blue tape and scuffed area left a good line for 3M tape later. Used the multitool and hand sanding to scuff powdercoat on the frame for Sika. Made narrow tape from standard black electrical tape by cutting on bandsaw per Kitplanes article. Used black tape to outline Sika area on frame. Put the frame in the canopy to check alignment of the black tape. Corrected as required, then used blue tape to cover frame where no Sika is desired.
