Brief Description: Brackets for Pitot/Static Tubes
Working to finish as much in aft fuselage as possible before riveting on top skins. Looked at routing pitot/static tubing to the ADAHRS and decided to mount a nutplate for an adel clamp on the F-787 rib for the static line. The Pitot and AoA lines required a small bracket to mount the nutplate on the left side J-channel. Made the bracket from angle stock and drilled mounting holes and holes for nutplate. Deburred all holes. Cleco'd in place and routing looks good for all tubes.
I will install an OAT probe under the horizontal stab on the left side. Used files and dremel to open the J-channel holes in bulkhead 707 and 708 to allow a plastic tube to go through. Drilled J-channel for a few zip-ties to secure the tubing. Will pull the wiring for the OAT probe through this tube and run it up the 707 bulkhead with other tubes and wires to the ADAHRS.
