To prepare for mounting the static ports I used emory and scotchbrite to clean primer off of skin in mounting location. Then used MEK for final clean of area. Scuffed the mounting face of the ports, used a #51 drill bit to ensure nothing went into the port. Final wipe with MEK. Mixed up a 20 gram batch of flamemaster tank sealant and used plastic knife to spread even coat on mounting surface of static port. Pressed the port into position and rotated to ensure good coverage, then clamped in place.
Loaded excess sealant into a syringe and put a blob on the left wing conduit at each rib.
