Brief Description: Drill Flap Block, Make Flap Parts
Used the flap block as a drill guide to mark the forward mounting hole. Drilled the hole and deburred. Used the nutplate jig to drill mounting holes for aft hole. Deburred. Used a single lug nutplate and bolted it in place to use as a drilling jig for forward nutplate. Drilled holes and deburred. Used "oops" rivets for single lug and countersunk rib with deburring tool. Used a dremel sander to relieve area near rivet to allow access for squeezer. Dimpled rib for aft nutplate. Used the squeezer to rivet in the nutplates. Touched up primer.
Located material and made F-766C plate per the plans, drilling only one mounting hole. Located angle stock and did layout for F-766B. Drilled initial hole to #40 and used as reference for large radius. Cut angle on band saw and used belt sander to round off radius on either end.
