Began the day by priming the front covers and stick boot rings with NAPA 7220 self etching primer.
Started on the flap mechanism by locating the parts and drilling the F-680 support block per the plans, then cut it in half. Used a #60 drill to drill the safety wire hole in the flap motor shaft per the Van's service bulletin. Put the WD-613 actuator in the fuselage for a test fit. The F-680 seems to be too long. Double checked the plans and found the block as supplied by Van's has to be cut down before drilling the holes. Fortunately, it appears I will be able to cut it down and completely remove the current hole drill a new one.
