Decided to add a J-channel reinforcement under the armrests. Reviewed several opinions on VAF forums to help planning the addition. Used extra J-channel to make a piece to run the length of the armrest. Drew a centerline and did rivet layout on the left armrest, then drilled the edge of the armrest with #40. Clamped in and match drilled the reinforcement piece, clecoing as I went. Deburred the holes, scuffed with scotchbrite and dimpled. Did the same for the right side armrest.
Completed clecoing the forward fuselage supports and hung the firewall back on. Pulled back the skin on the right side and used the squeezer to set the rivet joining the F-719 angle clip to the firewall support. Re-cleco'd the right side skin then did the same for the left side.
