Today the priming went much better, using small batches and running some thinner through the gun after each fill up. Oh yeah, did I mention this stuff is thick! It does spray well once you get the equipment and technique right. I used lacquer thinner to clean up and clear the gun, it seemed to work better then acetone. I think all the parts are ready for a final block sanding to fix the last of the unevenness and flaws and then one final coat of K 38 carefully applied. This is my story and I’m sticking to it. I am about ready to get off the fiberglass finishing, it has not been my favorite part of the building process.
